Wedence (“we”, “us”) makes wedding websites, digital invitations, and guest-management tools. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Last updated: 18 July 2026.
What we collect
Account details you give us when you sign up — your name, email address, and phone number.
Wedding content you add to your invitation — names, events, venues, dates, photos, and messages.
Guest information — contact details you upload, and responses guests submit through your invitation (RSVPs, attendance, wishes, and similar details).
How we use it
We use this information to render your invitation, run RSVP and guest-management features, and send you service messages about your account. We do not sell your data or your guests’ data to anyone.
Your guests’ data stays yours
Guest information belongs to the wedding it was collected for. Each wedding’s data is kept isolated — it is never shared with other couples or used to contact your guests for anything other than your wedding.
Cookies & analytics
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
Advertising measurement
On our marketing pages we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our ads work. If you reach us through an ad and enquire or sign up, we may share your contact details (phone or email) with Meta in hashed (scrambled) form, along with standard device information, solely to attribute that enquiry to the ad. We do not run advertising tools on live invitation pages — your guests are never tracked for ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your Meta ad preferences.
Who processes it
Your data is stored with infrastructure providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, database, and email delivery). They may not use it for their own purposes.
Your choices
You can edit your wedding content anytime from your dashboard. To export or permanently delete your account or your guest data, write to us and we will do it.
