Questions couples ask

Does Wedence send WhatsApp messages to my wedding guests automatically?

Yes. The invitation and every RSVP confirmation go out on their own, from your guest list. Follow-ups, reminders and announcements are two taps, with the recipient list in front of you first — nothing reaches your guests that you have not seen.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account to use this?

No. Messages are sent from Wedence's verified WhatsApp Business number on your behalf, on templates already approved by WhatsApp. You need nothing beyond your guest list, and your own number is never used.

Can guests RSVP inside WhatsApp itself?

Yes. The RSVP reminder carries the answer options in the chat, so a guest confirms in one tap without opening anything. Their answer is recorded against that specific function, so a guest can come to the sangeet and not the mehendi.

Can I send a message only to the guests attending one function?

Yes. Because every function has its own RSVP, a reminder or a change notice goes only to the guests who said yes to that function. Nobody is messaged about an event they were never coming to.

What happens if a timing or venue changes on the wedding day?

You send one announcement and every affected guest has it within a minute — the corrected date, time and venue for that one function. On the day it reaches only guests attending a function that has already begun, so a change to the baraat does not wake the people coming to the reception.

Do I see who a message goes to before it is sent?

Yes, for everything you send yourself. The review sheet lists every recipient first and you can narrow it — the bride's side only, one group, or only the guests attending a particular function. Nothing goes out until you have seen that list.

Will Wedence message people who are not on my guest list?

Never. Messages go only to the numbers on your own guest list, your list is never shared with anyone, and every message is sent from Wedence rather than from your personal number.
